Privacy Policy

Last updated 5 August 2026

Stagedoordle is a daily Broadway guessing game. This page explains what happens to data when you play. The short version: your game is stored on your own device, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Stagedoordle has no accounts, no logins, no sign-up, and no analytics. We never ask you for your name, email address, or any other personal detail.

What stays on your device

Your guesses, your win/loss record, your streaks, your chosen difficulty and whether you have seen the help screen are saved in your browser's local storage. This is a storage area belonging to your own browser. That information is never transmitted to us or to anyone else — there is no server collecting it, because Stagedoordle is a single static page with no backend.

Because it lives in your browser, it is specific to that browser on that device, and clearing your browsing data will erase it permanently. We cannot recover it for you, and we cannot see it in the first place.

Cookies

The game sets no cookies of its own and includes no third-party trackers.

Children

Stagedoordle is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
